In January 2002, we brought all our young fundraising recruiters from Mumbai into and as a full part of Greenpeace rather than as employees of an outsourced marketing agency. We managed to bring to ourselves a sense of equality within the organisation by naming the division “Supporter Campaigns” and gave it our best to flesh out that dream. The pressure of having to recruit supporters was wholly and completely on our heads and we expanded Direct Dialogue to Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi. The road was long, sometimes painful for all concerned in the constant quest for a robust supporter base and a more accountable, cleaner, greener Greenpeace. These are some of the Supporter Campaigns people from those years. We did well!
Golden days, totally nostalgic. Tito, I’ll remember you always, you taught me to float on water, literally?
This is so great ! Thanks for this Tito. Brings back some great memories.
